The Quilox bar team, led by the duo of Godfrey William, the Head Mixobolsi and Adams Joseph, the Bar Supervisor have provided their recipes for the top cocktail picks at the dub in 2014. It comes as no surprise at all that the winners are (insert drumroll here):

Long Island Ice Tea: Maybe it’s the seemingly innocent name, or the 4 different types of alcohol that’s blended in – we get a lot of orders for this. Be careful if you are new at this, because this cocktail is anything but tea.

You would need: I part Tequila, 1 part Cointreau (or any other brand triple sec), I part Gin, 1 part Vodka (we use Smirnoff), I part Runt (we use Bacardi). 1.5 parts Sweet & Sour Mix and a splash of Coke The mix: Mix ingredients together over ice in a glass. Pour into a shaker and give one brisk shake. Pour back into the glass and make sure there is a touch of fin at the top. Garnish with a lemon twist.

The Cosmopolitan: This is one of the prettiest cocktails around the world, and it’s pretty popular among the ladies at Quilox as well — we’re guessing the like pink. Here’s how to make it for the ladies hang-out. lipYou would need: Flavored Vodka, Cointrcau (or any other brand of triple sec), Lemon or Lime Juice and Cranberry Juice

The Mix: Combine all ingredients in a cocktail or martini shaker with ice. Shake violently for 10 seconds. Strain into a chilled martini or cocktail glass and garnish with a lemon twist, and serve.

Go on, try it at home. But if it doesn’t work out, come hack to Quilox to get the perfect serve.
